Replacement of the light control knob of a BMW 3 Series

In this video we see how to change the light control knob of a BMW car. All steps must be carried out with the ignition off; first we remove the air vent frame, simply pulling towards us, from top to bottom. On the sides there are two screws, which we will unscrew with a torx screwdriver; under the light button, we will find the last screw, which we will also unscrew with the same torx screwdriver. There is only one clip, and it is located near the steering wheel: just pull downwards and we will be able to release it. Now we release the light control lever, which is held in place by internal tabs: we will have to press them to make it come out of its housing. Remove the electrical connector by pressing the black part and rotating the gray part 90°. Replace the knob, which we may have found on Amazon with the code B0BHYT7L3K at a price of 13.71 euros, free delivery for Prime customers.
