Engine Oil Change with Vacuum Pump

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Engine oil

Protect the engine compartment from oil splashes with a rag. The first step is to remove the oil filter using an adapter and a ratchet wrench with a swivel and extension. Extract the used cartridge from the filter housing and replace it with a new one, also changing the O-ring gasket. Using the appropriate equipment, carefully vacuum out the engine oil by inserting the suction tube into the dipstick tube. Top off with new oil, reassemble the dipstick, and check the correct level on the graduated scale. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to designated collection centers.
