How to reset the service light on a 2005 BMW 3 Series

Performing a reset of the service light related to the car service on a 2005 BMW 3 Series is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. To reset the light, we must press the brake pedal while turning on the instrument panel; keeping the brake pedal pressed, we press the reset button located under the odometer. When the display shows the ABS message, we release the button and then press it again for 5 seconds to load the reset. Then, using the BC button located on the left lever, we reset the brake fluid. We press the button for 5 seconds and after the RESET message appears, we release it and press it for 2 seconds. Once the reset is completed, we release the brake pedal and restart the instrument panel.
