To reset the infotainment system of a BMW, you will need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once it is turned on, you can hold down the power button of the central screen for about a minute. During this minute, while holding down the button, you will notice that the screen will turn off and on automatically twice: when it turns on for the second time, you should release the button and select the option "Update apps and services" to complete the reset.
