What the video shows is exactly what NOT to do in a case like this: sanding directly on the scratch means removing the clear coat; the color has no protection or shine, and only a bump will come out. Sanding over it will end up damaging the nearby bodywork. If we want to try with the brush kit, the sequence is as follows: we thoroughly degrease the entire area, then with a small piece of wet P2000 sandpaper wrapped around a toothpick, we sand only the bottom of the scratch to clean it and smooth the inner edges; then, using a very fine brush, we apply a first layer only in the scratch and let it dry for 1/2 hour; then a second layer and let it dry. We continue until the scratch is filled almost level, not above. Now we use the clear coat from the kit, applying 2/3 layers over the colored area, slightly extending beyond the edges of the touch-up. We let it harden for at least 48 hours. With wet P3000 sandpaper, we sand very lightly over the excess clear coat, trying not to touch the original paint. Then a layer of polishing paste.
