How to Replace the Alternator Belt on the BMW 1 Series (120i)

In this guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to remove and replace the alternator belt on the BMW 1 Series (120i). First, open the car's bonnet and start loosening the tensioner with a spanner, thus removing the old trapezoidal belt; insert the new alternator belt (as well as the original) between the various pulleys, turning the engine by hand to ensure correct placement, as shown in the video. At this point, start the engine and check for any noises coming from the belt.
