How to Change the Instrument Cluster LEDs on a BMW 3 Series
Model: BMW Serie 3
E91, E90, E92

To give the instrument cluster a sportier and more appealing look, you can replace the backlighting LEDs with white ones, known as cool light. To perform this operation, first remove the instrument cluster from the dashboard by taking out the mounting screws located along the top edge of the frame. Once the instrument cluster is removed, open it to access the circuit board, and be careful not to scratch the dial cover while removing the needles. Once you reach the circuit board, desolder and remove the original LEDs to replace them with the white ones. It is recommended to connect the cluster temporarily before reassembling it to ensure everything works and all LEDs light up. Then proceed in reverse order to reassemble the cluster.
