Engine Oil and Filter Replacement for BMW i8 [Electric]

The 131 bhp synchronous electric motor is paired with a 1,500 cm³ TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder engine with direct injection, producing 231 bhp, for a total of 362 bhp. It is clear that the combustion engine requires maintenance, and at the very least, you can perform the engine oil and filter replacement yourself. The engine is located at the rear of the vehicle, and to access the oil sump, it is advisable to lift the car using a jack on the designated rib. The oil drain plug is located at the centre of the sump, and just above it is the oil filter housing, which is of the cartridge type, including the sealing ring for the plug. Access the engine bay to fill the engine with clean oil.
