How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a BMW i4

Model: BMW i4 MK 1 - Years 2021-2026

To replace the cabin air filter on the BMW i4, prepare by activating the air recirculation mode on the climate control and setting the ventilation to the minimum. The filter is located on the passenger side, in the footwell. You will need to unscrew 2 clips and remove the panel. Once this is done, unscrew the two T20 screws of the cover and disconnect the flexible hose from the bracket, then unlock the 2 side clips with your fingers. Pull out the old filter, clean the container well from dust, and insert the new filter with the corner facing up to the left. Reassemble everything in reverse order, being careful not to overtighten the screws on the plastics. Reattach the plastic panels by inserting the corners first and then pushing them in. That's it.
