To disable the alarm on the BMW 5 Series, the car must be locked, and you will need to use the specific remote: once outside the vehicle, press the button located at the bottom of the remote, which opens the trunk. By holding it down for a few seconds, you will notice that the car's alarm will be completely disabled: you can verify this by manually opening the car. To reactivate the device, simply press and hold the same button again until it is restored.
