Next, disengage and remove the two support lift supports. Once you complete this step, you will have freed the hydraulic lift supports, which you can remove, finishing the disassembly. To install the two new lift supports on your BMW 5 Series, follow this simple procedure in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
