Removing the Front Headlamp of a BMW 1 Series

Want to remove the front headlamp of a BMW 1 Series? Follow these steps to proceed with the removal. Open the bonnet by pulling the bonnet release lever and secure it. Before removing the headlamp, remove the front bumper. Unscrew the securing pins on the headlamp bar using a socket wrench. At this point, you will find additional pins at the bottom of the headlamp; unscrew them from the plastics. Disconnect the bulb holders from the headlamp and pull the headlamp out of the vehicle body. Install the new headlamp with new bulbs if damaged (ensuring they are the correct type and size) and insert the headlamp into its housing. Finally, tighten the pins on the headlamp with the plastic bracket.
