Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

Unscrew the screws located on the side of the door and on the armrest. Remove the panel by prying with a screwdriver on the various plastic clips, then push it upwards. Be careful of the cables connected to it that need to be removed to completely detach the panel. Remove the seals and the panel that separates the windows. Unscrew the screw that holds the glass, which should be removed carefully. Now you can access the window regulator mechanism. First, disconnect the electrical connector of the motor. Using a ratchet wrench, remove the nuts that secure the motor block and detach the clip at the base of the rod. Unscrew the Torx screws and remove the entire mechanical assembly of the window regulator. Proceed with the repair by replacing the worn parts, including the mechanical part of the rod movement or the complete assembly.
