Replacing the Side Turn Signal

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Open the hood and ensure it is securely supported. To remove the side turn signal, it is not necessary to disassemble the entire headlight; you can remove just the signal itself. Locate the access hole for the mounting screw of the side turn signal, which is on the inner edge of the fender and has an elliptical shape. Unscrew the mounting screw of the signal and pull it forward to extract it from its seat; disconnect the bulb holder from the socket and connect it to the new signal. Insert the new signal into its respective seat and tighten the mounting screw.
