Removing the Door Panel on BMW 5 Series

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

Remove the left front door of a BMW 5 Series to replace it with a new one. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw cover cap. Unscrew the screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel off by hand and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power wiring and the door opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Install the new panel onto the door, secure the clips, and screw in the screws.
