Removing the Glove Compartment on BMW 3

Is the glove compartment damaged and not opening? Let's see how to replace it. Open the access door with your hands, insert two plastic or metal trim tools into the slots at the top of the compartment. Remove by prying the clips that secure the compartment, then unscrew the securing screws located on the sides of the plastic. Pull out the plastic glove compartment from its housing. Once you have removed the glove compartment by hand, take the new piece to install. Install the piece into the dashboard of the car by pushing it in with your hands until it locks in place, then screw in all the securing screws.
