Replace Front Brake Pads on BMW X3

Are the front brake pads due for replacement? Here’s how to change them on a BMW X3. Lift the vehicle on a column lift to a comfortable height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the caliper lock bolt, and remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the caliper, then remove the caliper and disconnect the hoses. Replace the pads on the caliper. Install the new pads onto the caliper. Reattach the caliper, hoses, and wheel.
