Replacing Brake Pads on BMW X3

How do you remove the brake rotor from the BMW X3? Let's see how to take the rotor off the hub of the vehicle. Lift the vehicle with a jack and remove the wheel. Unscrew the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Remove the brake pads and then unscrew the bolts on the brake rotor (using a Torx screwdriver), pull the rotor towards you to slide it off the hub. Secure the new brake rotor with all the attached bolts, tighten the caliper bracket to the rotor and the pads, then install the brake caliper. Test the brake operation once you have completed the installation.
