Is the air fan not working anymore? Let's see how to remove the fan resistor on a BMW 3. Use a pry tool to remove the plastic cover under the dashboard. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the cover (where the resistor is located).

Disconnect the power connector, then remove the resistor from the cabin. Install a new fan resistor (connect the power connector).

Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws. Check that all parts are correctly installed and test the fan's operation.

Remove the fan if it does not work.
