Replace the Fan Resistor on a BMW 3 Series

Is the fan on your BMW 3 Series not working anymore? Here’s how to remove it. Open the car door and lower the glove compartment located at the bottom right of the dashboard. Unscrew the screws securing the glove compartment and remove it. Locate the fan resistor and unscrew the securing screws. Remove the old resistor from the dashboard and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Screw in the resistor screws and connect it to the power supply. Reattach the dashboard with the glove compartment. Start the engine with the ignition key and check the operation of the fan.
