How to open the front engine hood on our BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to do it. We pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then, slightly raise the engine hood and release the release lever. Once the engine hood is unlocked, let's lift it up and put it in safety. Now that we have opened the bonnet we can do our maintenance on the liquid trays. To close the hood we press down until it closes. Make sure that the hood is properly closed in order to have problems while the vehicle is running.
