How to Change the Battery on BMW 1 Series

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to change the battery on a BMW 1 Series. In this case, the battery is not located under the front bonnet, but in the boot: so open the hatch and lift the compartment. You will find the battery underneath: to remove it, unscrew the screws of the central bracket and then remove it. Under the battery, unscrew the support of the bracket with a socket wrench. At this point, disconnect all the control unit cables positioned above the battery and finally disconnect the main terminals (positive and negative).
