How to change the key battery of a BMW

Today, we will explain how to replace the key battery of a 2021 BMW 1 Series. To replace the battery, press the button on the side of the remote to release the emergency mechanical key, which will allow you to start the vehicle and unlock it in case the battery or remote fails. Then, open the remote cover and, using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the battery. Insert a new CW2032 battery and close the cover, finally reinserting the mechanical key.
