Replacing Brake Rotors and Pads on BMW 5 Series E39

In this practical video tutorial, learn how to replace the rear brake rotors and pads on the fantastic BMW 5 Series E39. First, lift the car and remove the rear wheel: use a screwdriver to remove the pad retaining clip by prying it off, then remove the bolt covers on the caliper. Next, use an Allen wrench to unscrew the caliper bolts, and use a screwdriver to press the piston back in so you can slide off the caliper. Loosen the bolts to extract the rotor and pads. Before reassembling everything, it is recommended to clean the area!
