BMW Serie 3 - Video tutorial

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E91, E90 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Seat
Operation: Remove the front seat in the BMW 3 series

To remove the front seat of the BMW 3 Series, we must, first of all, move the seat we want to remove forward, using the appropriate button, until it stops. At this point, we remove the plastic finish (by levering so as to disengage the clips) in correspondence with the insertion of the seat belt into the seat. Below, we find the bolt that fixes the belt and unscrew it using the appropriate key. Now, we tilt the backrest forward and find and unscrew the two bolts that we find, each one, in the two tracks (behind the seat) on which the seat itself slides. We send the seat back to the end of its travel and unscrew the two bolts on the two tracks (in front of the seat). At this point, we must disconnect the wire, connected, for the airbag located in the backrest (to disconnect it, just use a screwdriver to pry the black element present in the connection of the wire itself, as shown in the video) and the game is done!

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
