Remove the damaged cabin fan from the BMW X5? Let's see how to take out the fan from inside the dashboard. Remove the plastic cover above the center dashboard: use a trim tool to pry off the cover in all its parts.

Unscrew the mounting screws around the perimeter of the fan with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the damaged fan and disconnect all the power connectors.

Install the fan inside the dashboard: insert the new part into the compartment, and reassemble all the dashboard plastic cover components removed earlier. Turn on the vehicle and check the operation of the fan.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
