How to remove the door panel on a BMW 3 Series. Let's look at removing the cover panel. Remove the trim plastic under the inner door handle, unscrew the screws located inside the door, and the screws present in the handle. Remove the trim plastic near the lock, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away by hand and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door or replace it with a new one.
