How do you remove the sunroof panel of a BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to proceed in this video. Start by removing the side handles of the panel with a screwdriver, then remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting assembly (located in the panel). If the car is equipped with a sunroof, open it before removing the panel. Once all the pieces are removed, detach the sunroof panel using a lever around the perimeter of the car's roof. Once the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out of the car as it may deform.
