How to Remove the Dashboard of a BMW 3 Series

Before starting, gather a thin but sturdy tool and sit in the front passenger seat of your BMW 3 Series. Begin by inserting the tip of the thin but sturdy tool into the gap between the dashboard and its housing, then slide it along the perimeter, prying as you go. This will release the rear clips that secure the dashboard. Once you complete this step, pull the dashboard out enough to reach the rear connector for the turn signals. Once you reach the connector, disconnect it, and the removal will be complete.
