How to reset the "Tire Pressure" warning light on a BMW X1

Model: BMW X1 F48 - Years 2015-2022

Before we can start, we will have to make sure that the tire pressure has been normalized, and afterwards we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our BMW X1. So let's start by selecting "My Vehicle" in the main menu of the machine. After that, we will have to go to select "Vehicle Stautus". By doing so, we will have reached the tire status display. We then proceed with selecting "Tire Settings". At this point, we will have to go to confirm, and then select "Perform reset". Once we have confirmed "Perform Resest", the car will automatically reset, and we are done.

If the reverse light in the rear lamps does not illuminate when engaging reverse and the bulbs are functioning, the switch, also known as the bulb due to its shape, may be damaged. This switch is located on the gearbox; there is enough space to manoeuvre in the engine bay. Start by disconnecting the connector found on the left side of the engine bay when viewed from the front, near the cabin radiator hoses. Then, move symmetrically to the other side of the gearbox where the bulb is located. Take care with the O-ring seal during installation.
