BMW 3 Series Battery Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

Open the trunk and look to your right, where the battery compartment is located. As shown in the video, remove the lower frame and detach the side one to take it out. At this point, you will notice a plastic cover that was previously hidden: detach this and remove it. Voila! Here is the battery! Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unbolt the double curved bracket that holds the battery in place. Unbolt and then disconnect the negative terminal (toward the rear of the trunk, so to your right), then the positive terminal, also with the 10 mm wrench. Remove the battery.
