How to remove the steering wheel of a BMW Z3

Model: BMW Z3 MK 1 - Years 1995-2002
Part: Steering wheel

Before we can begin, we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our BMW Z3, and then rotate the steering wheel ninety degrees to the left, thus reaching the rear screws that secure the airbag. So let's start by unscrewing and removing these screws, and then we will have to extract the airbag from its housing. Once we have extracted the airbag, we will have to disconnect the relative connector, and then remove the airbag itself. At this point, we will have reached the nut that fixes the steering wheel to the steering column, which we will have to unscrew and remove. When we have finished this step, we will be able to remove the steering wheel, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.

How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on a Volkswagen Polo

Remove the engine air filter from a Volkswagen Polo: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel (if necessary), then open the air box (unscrew the securing screws), remove the cover of the filter box and take out the engine air filter. Insert a new filter into the dedicated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the air box cover and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
