Replacing Key Battery on BMW

Changing the battery in the remote for BMW cars is very simple, and now we will show you how. First, extract the manual key from the casing by pressing the designated button. Once done, use the space left by the key to pry open the casing and separate it into two parts. For this operation, if you do not want to use the key for fear of damaging it, use a small flat screwdriver. With the same screwdriver, remove the small battery from its holder and replace it with the new one (which can be found in any hardware store for a few pounds), then reassemble everything.
