Replacement rearview mirror block on BMW E46

Let's see the replacement of the external mirror of a BMW 3 Series. We pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass of the same. We pry until the slide detaches from the mirror (we disconnect the power cable). At the end of the disassembly we just have to mount the new mirror, we are careful to hook the plastic snap clips into the mirror supports. We check the effective block of the glass inside the mirror to avoid losing it on the road. We carry out the adjustment of the mirror at the end of the assembly.

Removing the Door Panel on a BMW Z3

Remove the front left door panel on a BMW Z3. Use a screwdriver to remove the trim around the upper door handle. Take out the switch panel from the door panel (disconnect the connector), unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away by hand and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable if present on the model). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Refit the panel after maintenance.
