Replacing BMW Key Battery

Press the side button on the casing to extract the manual key from the remote. In the space now left by the manual key, lever the cover to remove it from the remote (if you cannot do it by hand, use a small flat screwdriver). Remove the battery from its housing (again, I recommend using the flat screwdriver) and insert the new one you purchased. It is a CR2032 and can be found in all hardware stores or large supermarkets. Reassemble the remote by refitting the cover and reinserting the manual key. Good luck!
