How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a BMW 5 Series

Before you begin, open the front passenger door of your BMW 5 Series. Start by removing the covers located under the front glove compartment, unscrewing the fastening screws, and disconnecting the electrical connectors. Next, remove the lower cover of the cabin air filter by unscrewing the mounting screws. This will give you access to the cabin air filter, which you need to pull out from its housing, completing the disassembly. To install the new cabin air filter, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
