Before you begin, open the door of your BMW 3 Series. Start by prying and removing the inserts from the door panel using a thin but sturdy tool.

Once done, unscrew and remove the screws securing the door panel. This will free the door panel.

Next, pry and remove the door panel from its location, then disconnect the electrical connector and the cable attached to the handle. After completing this step, the disassembly will be finished.
