How to Change the Engine Oil of a BMW Z3

Before starting, open the bonnet of your BMW Z3. Begin by unscrewing and removing the upper cap where you refill the engine oil. Once done, lift the front of your vehicle to access the lower drain plug, which you need to unscrew and remove. This will allow all the engine oil to drain out. Once the engine oil has drained, refit the lower plug and lower the front. At this point, pour in the new oil through the upper refill hole, then screw the cap back on. When you complete this last step, you will have successfully changed the oil.
