How to Replace the Air Filter on a BMW Z3?

On the BMW Z3 Roadster 2.8, produced from 1995 to 2002, it is advisable to replace the air filter every 9,300 miles or at most every 12,400 miles, or annually. To replace the air filter, follow this simple guide: open the bonnet and access the engine bay; the air filter is located under the plastic panel at the bottom right of the engine bay, near the right headlight (when facing the car). To access it, loosen the 4 clips on the sides of the airbox, disconnect the connector at the base of the airbox, and loosen the metal clamp securing the air hose, then gently lift the plastic cover, remove any dirt present, and replace the air filter. Follow the reverse procedure for reassembly.
