How do you replace the operating fuses on a BMW 1 Series? Let's see how to replace the parts. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the bonnet, securing it. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws of the container located on the left side of the front compartment, detach the cover, and remove it from the fuse box. Once the box is exposed, replace the damaged fuses with new ones. Additional fuses can be found in the boot, where the car battery is located.
