How to Remove the Cabin Fan from a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Blower motor

Before you start, open the hood of your BMW 3 Series. Begin by removing the rear cover near the windshield wipers and the upper engine cover by unscrewing the respective mounting bolts, which will give you access to the cabin fan. Once done, disconnect the electrical connector, then unscrew and remove the mounting screws and unclip the clip. This will free the cabin fan. At this point, pull the heater fan out of its housing, and the disassembly will be complete.
