Before you begin, exit the cabin of your BMW X3 and head to the front of the vehicle. Start by releasing and lowering the prop rod that supports the hood. Next, gently lower the hood. Once done, apply light pressure to the center of the front edge of the hood. This will engage and secure the latch. After completing this step, you will have successfully closed the hood of your BMW X3.
