The guide shows how to replace the rear bumper on BMW 3 series. The first operation to perform is to unscrew the bolts located on the bottom of the bumper and in the rear wheel arches. After removing these screws it is necessary to unscrew two screws located under the wheel arch panel. At the top of the bumper, using a small slotted screwdriver, detach the covers of the two upper mounting bolts. At this point it is necessary to remove the taillights by first detaching the internal covers, the fixing bolts and the power cables. With the aid of a lever for plastics it is necessary to detach the retaining clips of the bumper. There are two bumper retaining clips on the lower part of the light housing. The bumper can now be removed. The assembly of the new spare part is carried out in the same way as the disassembly but in reverse.
