How to Remove the Rear Bumper of the BMW 3 Series E90

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

To remove the rear bumper of the BMW 3 Series E90, remove all the 8 mm bolts located along the bottom of the bumper. Use a pneumatic gun or a socket wrench to remove them. Additional 8 mm screws must be loosened from inside the wheel well, three on each side. Under the wheel well cover, there will be more screws that need to be removed. Next, remove the protective caps from the screws located near the trunk seal. These screws must be removed along with those found inside the trunk that secure the taillights from the inside. After removing these, you can detach the bumper from its mounting clips and remove it from the rest of the body.
