Installing Cruise Control

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Accessory kit

Cruise control is a device that reduces driver fatigue, especially on long highway stretches where speed remains constant for extended periods. Obtain the installation kit. Before proceeding, deactivate the airbag and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. The device must be installed in the steering wheel, so start by removing the retaining screws of the airbag module, accessible through the holes on the sides of the steering column using an Allen wrench. Loosen the screws and carefully pull away the airbag cover, disengaging the plastic clips. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the two connectors located on the back of it by releasing the small plastic tabs with a tool. Be careful not to drop the airbag module, keep it away from intense heat sources, do not carry it away, do not shake or hit it, as it may explode. Proceed with the installation by carefully following the instructions included in the kit.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
