How to change the differential oil on the BMW F30

The guide shows how to replace the differential oil on the BMW F30. The first thing to do is to lift the vehicle and remove the differential protective lock with an E12 wrench. After opening the 14mm cap that allows the fluid to drain, with a BMW differential fluid extractor, pump out the old lubricant. Using a plastic syringe and a plastic tube as an extension, insert the new lubricant into the differential. Use only the fluid recommended by the manufacturer. The fluid level should just above the fill hole. Drain the oil into a container for disposal and screw the tank cap back on. Tighten it to a torque of 60 Nm and clean any residual oil from the outside of the differential. Refit the differential protective lock and lower the vehicle. At this point the operation is finished.
