The maintenance of the BMW 3 Series f30 is carried out according to a specific maintenance program established by the manufacturer, based on kilometers traveled or time intervals. That being said, the engine oil and oil filter are changed, possibly along with spark plugs, cabin filter, etc., before resetting the relevant indicator light, following the procedure outlined below: With the instrument panel on, access the Settings Menu using the steering wheel buttons and scroll to reach the Service option.

When prompted to Reset, press Ok.
