If the orange oil light on the instrument cluster of your BMW 3 Series F30 (2012-2019) stays on even after you have changed the oil, you need to perform a manual reset. Follow these steps to reset the oil light. First, start the ignition of your BMW 3 Series F30 by pressing the ignition button twice in quick succession. Then, press and hold the button located in the lower left corner of the dashboard, and release it as soon as the display shows the option to reset the oil light. Finally, confirm the operation by pressing and holding the same button again.
