How to Replace the Auxiliary Belt on a BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

To replace the auxiliary belt on a BMW 1 Series, loosen the screws securing the air filter box, located at the top of the engine bay. Once the box is removed, the auxiliary belt will be visible at the front of the engine. By loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley, you can loosen and completely remove the belt. Once the old belt is removed, replace it with a new part. After installing the new belt, reinstall all other removed parts.
