When you start the vehicle, it is unnecessary to impatiently set the temperature to the lowest setting when it is hot or to the highest setting when it is cold, hoping to reach the desired temperature as quickly as possible. This behavior can confuse the thermostat control, which would receive commands that are too rapid; it may also lead to malfunctioning of the adjustment buttons. It is far better to set the desired temperature and allow it to gradually approach that setting.
